About Joshua Haupt 

Joshua Haupt is a co-founder of Plant Love Naturals, also known as “The Steve Jobs of Cannabis” and recognized for his entrepreneurship in the cannabis industry and his patented, innovative growing technique. Haupt is not only an inspiring force for those treating epilepsy and various illnesses with cannabis, but a mentor in the world of business and the industry.

After being diagnosed with epilepsy as a teenager, Haupt’s mission of replacing the harmful pharmaceutical drugs he was being prescribed began his unexpected journey into the cannabis industry. With countless hours of research, trial and error, and elemental adjustments, Haupt spearheaded an unmatched growing method known as “Schwazzing” that has now been picked up by the industry at large. “Schwazzing,” now used by entry level and experienced growers alike, is the concept behind his acclaimed growing guide, Three A Light.

Joshua Haupt now holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer of Medicine Man Technologies, a leading cannabis firm which specializes in business consulting and research in the field. Along with the production of Three A Light, Haupt created a compatible nutrient line, Success Nutrients. 

Haupt was born in Hawaii, and currently resides in Denver, Colorado.

About Kanani Stephens

Kanani Stephens is a co-founder at Plant Love Naturals, leading brand strategy and product development. Kanani holds a BA in Exercise Physiology and a BA in Nursing. As a nurse, it’s in her nature to help people. Throughout her years this has reflected in volunteering for some of her favorite organizations like Children’s Hospital Colorado, Special Olympics Colorado, and the Denver Rescue Mission.

Kanani spent the first part of her professional career as a Registered Nurse working in the hospital setting where she discovered her passion to help people explore the many facets of healing and the intricate connection of the mind and body in achieving a state of well-being and health.  

The power of hemp was introduced to her by her husband, who is epileptic and has turned to CBD to support his own health. Her goal in the CBD industry is to be an advocate for education so that it can continue to help people in positive ways. She is uniquely positioned to provide the CBD industry with the medical perspective that it needs to grow awareness, gain trust, and overcome misconceptions.

Kanani was born in Grand Junction, CO, and was raised in Hawaii. She is a mother to three daughters. Having kids and being a nurse has given her a new perspective on what we are putting into our bodies and the stressors we subject ourselves to. She noticed people were often unaware of toxic ingredients that were taking a huge toll on their health. This sent her on a quest to start a company that would help bring people natural solutions. Plant Love Naturals started with a positive vision to make a big impact on the way people support their health and to build a company that has the ability to balance profit and purpose.

About Christopher C. Paladino

Christopher C. Paladino is CEO of Plant Love Naturals. Married with four children, Christopher and his wife live on a 80-acre country estate where they grow a great deal of their own food. They even tend to grapes that his grandfather, who immigrated from Southern Italy, had brought over with him. It’s this passion for nature and growing, as well as his extensive career, that Christopher brings with him to the Plant Love team. 

Christopher began his career in Telecom and subsequently became an entrepreneur at the age of 33, after being employed in the industry for 12 years prior. For the next 20 years, his companies excelled in the field of Telecom, convenience, and subsequently building supply. 

After selling their three companies in 2013, Christopher and his wife retired early. Being restless and seeing an opportunity to get involved in the cannabis industry, he struck up a solid friendship with Joshua Haupt. Christopher began growing hemp in southern Colorado, outside of Pueblo, with a partner and grew for 3 years. During this time, he was fortunate to work with a plant pathologist who shared a wealth of knowledge. The industry seemed to be flooded with all sorts of claims and products that Christopher was skeptical of, so after subsequent calls with Joshua Haupt, they embarked on founding Plant Love Naturals to provide the very best products in the industry. The level of certifications on their products and their attention to detail in every aspect of production is second to none. 

Christopher loves being outdoors and enjoys everything from kayaking, canoeing, sailing, backpacking, and fly fishing. When he’s not working in Denver, he’s at home in Arkansas, or on his boat in Florida, always looking to learn something new each and every day. 

About Jennifer Goodrich 

Jennifer Goodrich is VP of Sales at Plant Love Naturals. Her passion for natural products ignited 20 years ago while working with the world’s largest international, certified organic/biodynamic essential oil company as Director of Sales & Operations. During this time, Jennifer immersed herself in learning about the incredible power of plants and the wisdom of pursuing organic products as a lifestyle. She spent decades building extensive relationships within natural and mainstream grocery industries.

Her entrepreneurial spirit came to life when she was offered to develop a new brand of certified organic essential oils for the US market, which she owned and distributed for 12 years. In addition, her skills in branding and product development have been utilized to create several other natural product launches. Over the years, Jennifer has taken each of her brands to the top sales in their categories and has amassed more than $200 million in retail sales for her various companies.

When Jennifer was asked to be a part of the Plant Love team as a Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales, she enthusiastically jumped at the opportunity. Within the co-founding team, there has been a natural, symbiotic flow since the beginning. For Jennifer, the words “integrity,” “purity,” and “quality” have never been just buzzwords, and, like the team, she knows the importance of ensuring each CBD product consistently contains the highest quality ingredients possible.

About Taka Koyano 

Taka Koyana is CFO and COO at Plant Love Naturals. Born and raised in Japan, Taka hails from an agricultural background and family who lived very close to nature. The family business was hands-on, growing and harvesting premium organic Japanese green tea and vegetables. When he moved to the US in 2001, and received his Green Card after a 20-year process, he was finally able to leave his corporate background and join the Plant Love team full-time. 

Taka brings with him a professional background in public accounting, serving both public and private companies, and as a CPA in the state of Colorado. He left public accounting and served as a marketing manager / project manager for a major TV provider. His time there came with a variety of in-depth experiences in multiple areas of business, including marketing, IT, finance, operations, supply chain, and accounting. 

Taka is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities like snowboarding, hiking, camping, fishing, yoga, and CrossFit. 

About Carrington Junior

Carrington Junior is CIO & CMO of Plant Love Naturals. Carrington is recognized for his achievements in enterprise systems, architecture and custom Artificial Intelligence tooling. Having managed everything from Marketing/IT/Support/Ops/Sales, he brings a wealth of scale operation knowledge to the Plant Love team.

Carrington has built infrastructure and analytics tools for some of the biggest names in hospitality through his company Information Age Consulting, LLC. Since its inception, Information Age Consulting has produced cutting edge software and AI for scale customers, who as a result have made over $150 Million on new tooling. It was through working in mountain towns and the hospitality industry that Carrington fell in love with the outdoors and the active lifestyle that the mountains offer. 

It was because of AI research that Carrington first began researching the human brain, how it is trained and how it retains information as well as the impacts of receptors (including CBD). Carrington uses CBD daily to manage stress and anxiety when previously only prescriptions would work with accompanying side effects. It was because of all these things that the relationship began with the Plant Love team and grows stronger every day. 

Carrington is a Colorado native with a degree in applied mathematics. He loves to be in the know about new technologies and methodologies of research. He has submitted technical research papers on topics ranging from Labor Productivity Research to Global Warming and is an active volunteer in the mountain communities. Working with such groups as the Vail Veterans Project, The Friends of Breckenridge Trails, The Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, and Grand County Fire District. When he is not working, he is either skiing or camping.
