HERE NOW: Joe Taveras and Matthew Moloney present their new exhibition in Paris
Paris, FR – Artist Joe Taveras presents his new exhibition HERE NOW alongside artist Matthew Moloney in Paris, on view November 9-10, 2023.
With a new body of work all created in Paris, Taveras’s prolific painting practice introduces European audiences to the artist’s shifting modes of expression rooted in explorations into how matter moves and interacts with the environment and universe. After a career in robotics, Taveras’s entirely self-taught practice is informed by the fusion of science and philosophy as well as explorations of oneness and relativistic multiplicity.
HERE NOW features several new paintings, drawings and sculptures from Taveras, all created in response to humanitarian crises being experienced around the world. Just as information about these crises is shared rapidly and collectively, Taveras’s work acts as a reminder of humanity’s interconnectedness.

About Joe Taveras
Joe Taveras is an American roboticist and artist whose art obsession emerged at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic (March 2020). As a robotics expert, Taveras had no prior experience in the arts but harnessed the period of isolation to rapidly explore a myriad of styles and mediums. His artistic journey has revolved around four key interests: oneness and interconnectedness, the ego and relativistic multiplicity, the infinite power of the human mind, and the fusion of science and philosophy. Taveras is currently independent following the closing of Galerie Michael at the end of 2022. In only the first year of representation, the Gallery on Rodeo Drive sold over 50 large artworks to collectors around the globe, making him the highest selling artist in the gallery’s 30 year history.
Over the past three years, Taveras’ innovative and thought-provoking creations have found their way into over 300 private collections around the world. Taveras’ artworks currently reside in public and private collections in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Sweden, Paris, Spain, South Korea, China, Canada, and more.
