GEN.ART Exhibits Immutable at Vellum LA, Featuring Top Tier Digital Artists and Collectors in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA – GEN.ART, one of the leading generative art platforms, hosts generative art exhibition Immutable at Vellum LA, the premier art gallery for NFT-backed digital art. The exhibition features top tier digital artists and collectors, on view from June 2, 2022 – June 26, 2022.

Immutable explores the world of generative art and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), delving into a movement that is breaking norms and pushing boundaries. The work featured in Immutable showcases generative art’s collaboration between artist, algorithm, and collector, and how its digitally native processes navigate constraints and freedom.

“Ever since founding GEN.ART, just under one year ago, it’s been our mission to play a small part in helping usher in this new creative renaissance. We focused on building a tight-knit community of artists, collectors and thinkers. Now we want to educate and show the wider public the beauty of generative art, making the complex simple, sharing stories, and understanding the people behind the art and the community behind the movement. We couldn’t think of a better partner than Vellum LA to host our first US exhibition. And we couldn’t be more appreciative of Cozomo, Punk6529 and GrailersDAO. They continue to lead by example, share values similar to ours, be great spokespeople and be selflessly kind.”
– Adam (Notion), Founder, GEN.ART

Immutable features work by artists Nadieh Bremer, Jens Clarholm (jenslabs), Chris Egli (r0zk0), Greweb, Hevey, Lucastswick, Laya Mathikshara, Kelly Milligan, MrHabMo, Rich Poole, Alexander Reben, Tengil, Toiminto, Jos Vromans, and Dan Zucco. The exhibition will also feature work from the collections of three prolific collectors—Cozomo de’ Medici, Punk6529 and GrailersDAO—with over $100m of artwork on display—including works by artists XCOPY, Tyler Hobbs, Dmitri Cerniak, DeeKay, Larva Labs, Sam Spratt, Snowfro, Loren Bednar, Ben Kovach, Joshua Bagley, Thomas Lin Pederson, William Mapan, amongst many others.

“As part of Vellum LA’s mission to situate NFTs within the context of art history, we are pleased to be partnering with GEN.ART on this important residency that not only champions the work of prominent generative artists within the space but also gives our LA community a glimpse into the iconic collections of some of the top NFT collectors that have been investing in and supporting digital artists since day one.” – Sinziana Velicescu, Director & Curator, Vellum LA

Vellum LA will host a private opening reception on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 7-9 PM, with drinks and refreshments. At a later date to be announced soon, there will be a moderated artist panel and Twitter Spaces co-hosted by GEN.ART and Vellum LA.
