Frank & Eileen and Artist René Romero Schuler Launch an Exclusive Ballerina Button-Up Capsule Collaboration
The limited edition, collectible collaboration will give 100% of all proceeds to the Frank & Eileen Foundation, kicking off with a private launch event that also highlights Romero Schuler’s new book, One Hundred Paintings.
New York, NY – June 9, 2026 – Frank & Eileen, the woman-owned, B Corp-certified fashion brand, today announces a new limited edition capsule collaboration between House of Frank & Eileen, the brand’s home for community design by women for women, with renowned American artist and sculptor, René Romero Schuler.
Launching on June 9, 2026, the House of Frank & Eileen x René Romero Schuler Ballerina collaboration is a stunning collection of three limited-edition Eileen button-ups in Famous Denim, screenprinted with three unique ballerinas painted by Schuler. Beautifully crafted, the ballerinas reference Schuler’s practice of creating emotionally charged portraits of women that delve beneath the surface, exploring concepts of beauty, identity, femininity, and resilience.
“Partnering with René is a true joy, as she has been a dear friend of mine for years and her work so beautifully captures the resilience of the female spirit,” says Audrey McLoghlin, Founder and CEO of Frank & Eileen. “Bringing the layered depth of her painted ballerinas to the denim we’re famous for showcases a core sensibility René and I share—that womanhood is complex, perfectly imperfect, and always in motion. I am so proud that this collaboration supports the Frank & Eileen Foundation, helping us to create exponentially more women entrepreneurs.”
The three limited-edition pieces will feature exclusive ballerinas on the brand’s iconic Eileen button-up denim shirts in Pink, Black, and Indigo, retailing for $298 on frankandeileen.com and in-store at 753 Madison Avenue, NYC. All proceeds from the sale of the René Romero Schuler for House of Frank collaboration will be donated to the Frank & Eileen Foundation, which has a mission to create more women entrepreneurs by unlocking access to exceptional entrepreneurship education from middle school onward.
In celebration of the capsule collection, Frank & Eileen and René Romero Schuler will be hosting a private launch event on June 9 at the Frank & Eileen Madison Avenue Flagship store.
The kick-off event will also recognize the launch of Romero Schuler’s new book, One Hundred Paintings from Jasper Press. One Hundred Paintings represents over three years of artistic labor, exploring the visceral connection fostered by abstract figuration, the nature of isolation and duality, and the expressive possibilities of the feminine figure. The book also includes an introductory conversation with Cydney Payton (former director and curator of the Denver Art Museum). The book will be available for purchase, and Romero Schuler will be available for book signings.

About René Romero Schuler
René Romero Schuler is an American painter and sculptor who creates powerful images that speak to the complexities of the feminine condition and the spirit that connects all human beings.
Feminine figures are a constant in Schuler’s art, which she claims is equal parts self-portraiture and depictions of the range of emotions she has experienced. In her quest for a feeling of connection, Schuler speaks to global and societal issues that impact us all. Schuler’s paintings and sculptures are purposely semi-abstract and textured, rendering them open to interpretation by the viewer. Their power lies in the layers of applied materials scraped, carved, and incised by hand, and the elusive quality of the figures—holistically beautiful but symbolic of the scars and flaws that shape individuals.
Currently represented by galleries across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, Schuler has had major exhibitions throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and has work included in the permanent collections of numerous museums and institutions. Schuler’s art and selected essays and poetry are collected into published works: René Romero Schuler: Life and Works, 2013; René Romero Schuler, 2016, and René Romero Schuler, 2019, now available in its second edition. A fourth book, Ladies, published by G Editions NYC, was released in 2024. Her new book, One Hundred Paintings, which includes an introductory conversation with Cydney Payton (former director and curator of the Denver Art Museum), is forthcoming from Jasper Press.
