See You Next Thursday (SYNT), in Collaboration with Wienholt Projects, Announces Flat File in Los Angeles at The Loved One
The artist-led platform brings FLAT FILE to Echo Park for a one-day event centered around accessible art, artist discovery, and community.
Los Angeles, CA – See You Next Thursday (SYNT), the artist-led platform owned by Paige Beeber, in collaboration with Wienholt Projects, announces FLAT FILE, a one-day art event taking place November 6 at The Loved One in Echo Park, Los Angeles.
Following previous editions in New Mexico and New York, FLAT FILE comes to Los Angeles with a new open call focused primarily on artists based in Los Angeles and the Southwest. The event brings together works by emerging and mid-career artists in an informal, curated setting designed to make discovering and collecting art feel more accessible.
Built around the idea of more art for more people, FLAT FILE will feature works priced between $50 and $500, spanning prints, drawings, photographs, works on paper, small paintings, editions, objects, and more.
Unlike a traditional exhibition, FLAT FILE encourages visitors to look through the works, discover artists they may not already know, and find something they can take home. The project is also designed to extend beyond a single event, with unsold works able to continue on to future presentations in other cities, giving participating artists continued opportunities for visibility, sales, and connection with new audiences.
For its Los Angeles edition, SYNT is collaborating with Wienholt Projects to bring together their respective artist and creative communities, while introducing new Los Angeles and Southwest-based artists into the project.
