East Hampton, NY – The White Room Gallery presents Open Ended, a new exhibition examining contemporary creativity across disciplines and mediums. The exhibition is on view July 1 – August 9, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, July 11th, 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
Among the featured artists is Renée Levin, who is best known for her highly rendered, large-scale paintings that transform organic forms and found objects into meditations on beauty, presence, and impermanence. Her works in the exhibition center on pearls and flowers— subjects suspended between delicacy and change—rendered with striking precision and restraint.
Open Ended marks Levin’s debut exhibition in The Hamptons, introducing audiences to paintings that invite a slower, more contemplative way of observing the natural world. Through subtle tonal shifts, controlled compositions, and an acute sensitivity to light and texture, Levin elevates familiar objects into emotional visual experiences that blur the line between realism and abstraction.
Rather than simply documenting the natural world, Levin’s paintings linger in moments of transition, exploring the tension between fragility and resilience, stillness and transformation. The result is work that feels both intimate and monumental, encouraging viewers to engage more deeply with the quiet details of everyday life.
Open Ended features work by artists Sabrina Cabada, Raffael Ferrari, Paul D. Fuentes, Renee Levin, Mital Patel, Lynn Savarese, Joe Stefanelli, Taylor Smith, Miska

About Renée Levin
Renée Levin, a contemporary oil painter, is best known for her highly rendered paintings and modern depictions of organic material and found objects. With a keen eye for detail, her large-scale paintings are created with a minimalist approach to color, allowing the focus to remain on the subject itself. In her pursuit of perfection, Levin skillfully uses bold contrasts in form and subject along with a balance of beauty and imperfection, to create dynamic visual compositions. Through creative introspection, she has woven a dialogue in her works that explores the interconnectedness of opposition, proving differences blend seamlessly to create a synchronized balance. Since becoming a full-time artist in 2019, Levin has developed a signature style that has gained attention worldwide. Her work has been placed in numerous private and corporate collections and has received notable press features in magazines such as Vogue and Veranda.
